Combomark

For this project, the goal was to create a combo mark inspired by a mythological figure. Demeter is the Greek goddess of agriculture, the harvest, and the earth, and, inspired by this, I made a combo mark for a lawn and harvest equipment company similar to that of John Deer. The mark is meant to target men, hence the angular and heavy aesthetic. The hexagonal shape nestled in the gap of the “M” represents a leaf, and the extended leg of the “R” not only underscores the mark, but it also acts as a trimmed lawn. Green is used in the logo to represent grass, and it highlights the “meter” portion of the word in order to help with pronunciation.
